Spring Flowers
Spring has arrived & so has the many beautiful flowers it brings! We've been visiting local parks lately, as well as planting our own backyard garden. Here are a few photographs that have resulted in the arrival of Spring:

New Symrna Beach Sky Fest 2012
Last weekend, we attended the 2012 New Symrna Beach Sky Fest. It was a gorgeous day for photography! The temperature was a perfect 83 degrees with blue skies & a cool breeze. We enjoyed the air show & checking out the many airplanes they had on display. I brought my new Sigma 18-250 telefoto zoom lens & gave it a good test.

Day at the fair
My husband & I visited the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City Florida the first weekend of March. The weather was unseasonably warm, near 90 degrees, but the sun was shining & the midway was in full swing. We ate strawberry shortcake, enjoyed the music & had a wonderful afternoon exploring all they had to offer. I spent a lot of time taking shots of food vendors, rides & colorful scenes. Birds of a feather
I recently visited the Avian Reconditioning Center in Apopka Florida. They are a bird of prey rehabilitation & education facility that allows the public to visit their birds every Saturday. They kindly allowed me to take photos of their beautiful birds. Below are a few of the prints from that outing:
